Games Like Politics & War? A Citizen's Guide to Leviathan War

If you enjoy Politics & War’s persistent economy, alliances, and geopolitical conflicts, Leviathan War offers another browser strategy world. The biggest difference is who you play. In Politics & War you operate a nation with its own cities and alliance position, as shown in its official nation documentation. In Leviathan War you begin as one citizen in an existing state, alongside other citizens who can become your employers, business partners, party members, and political rivals.

This is Leviathan War’s own guide, not an independent review or an affiliation with Politics & War. The games have separate rules and communities. Leviathan War is free to start in a browser; a free account and email verification are required. Emerald purchases and Pro are optional.

If you expect to… In Leviathan War…
Manage your own nation You live in a state governed by players. Your residency affects which elections you can vote in; simply traveling does not change it.
Join an alliance You can join a political party, coordinate with other citizens, and eventually help shape your state’s government. A party is not the same thing as a Politics & War alliance.
Grow cities and improvements You can work for a factory or build a company that owns factories. Other players can become shareholders, with board control over shared assets.
Fight a nation-scale war You build military units and join a war when one is active. Outcomes depend on the participating players; you do not command a nation by creating an account.
  1. Create an account and verify your email. Your character begins with basic stats and no Levcoins; there is no imported nation or alliance.
  2. Claim the daily reward, take a factory shift, and train a stat. Work, combat, and rest share a five-minute cooldown; the first-steps guide explains the loop.
  3. Look at your state and its parties before deciding whom to work with. Elections require 500 XP to vote and 1,000 XP to run, plus residency and party-age rules.
  4. Decide whether to keep earning wages or save toward a company. The company guide explains shares, boards, and factories.

The world is still growing, so activity varies by state and there may be no active war or election when you arrive. If the appeal of Politics & War for you is direct control over a nation from day one, expect a different experience here. If you want to build influence through work, business, and collective politics, start as a citizen and see where other players take the state.
